    Training 1: Sustainable water projects: Increasing your knowledge on water and culture

    How does culture contribute to sustainable water management? And how does water management  take into account cultural heritage and customs. Learn about these in this training.

    Training 2: Water, conflict and cooperation

    Water can be a source of conflict as well as of cooperation. Learn how water played a strategic role in different societies and cultures. Learn how to recognise the impact of water management in social behaviour and relationships and acquire skills to react effectively in order to develop successful projects.

    Training 3: Successful cooperation with water partners

    Water partnerships are gaining importance. Successful cooperation does not develop automatically. This training is of relevancy for water partners, project managers and all those professionals who deal with (international and intercultural partners) in developing and executing successful water partnerships and working with different stakeholders. It provides you tools, concepts and instruments in fostering effective cooperation with your partners.

    Training 4: Mediation in water disputes

    Mediation shows to be an effective approach in negotiation and conflict situations. In this workshop you will learn the basics of mediation and some of the most effective tools for mediation in water disputes.

    Training: 5: Enlarging your cultural sensitivity in water projects.

    Water professionals working in an intercultural setting require sufficient cultural sensitivity and (inter)cultural communication skills in order to effectively deal with water projects. This training provides you with practical lessons, tools and lots of exercises in order to enlarge your cultural sensitivity and communication skills.
